Why did you pick this college?

“I chose Villanova because it has everything that I was looking for in a college, academically and athletically. I love the suburban area, and it is not far from home, so my family can come to all of my games. The team was also very welcoming and I could definitely see myself there in the future.”

What advice would you give to younger Blast players beginning the recruiting process?

“I would definitely tell the younger Blast players to stay positive and to take their time! Even though the process is long and stressful, it will always work out in the end. Be open about different types of schools to see what you like and don’t like. And remember, there is a school for everyone, trust me!!”

What’s your favorite part of playing for Blast?

“My favorite part of playing Philly Blast is definitely spending most of my summer with all my teammates. I have made so many new friendships and it is so fun playing with them! Everyone on the team contributes and pushes each other to be the best that we can be.”

What other colleges were you considering?

Drexel, Quinnipiac, Fairfield

Achievements, other sports or activities, etc

2016 Girls’ Philly Showcase All-Star, 2016 Nike Top of the Class All-Star, Varsity Lacrosse, Varsity Basketball, 2016 Basketball MVP, 2017 Basketball AACA First Team All Star, Cross Country, Honor Roll

Additional Comments

“I would like to thank my Blast teammates for pushing me every practice and for always supporting me on and off the field. I would also like to thank my family for always believing in me and my parents for driving me to all the tournaments. Lastly, I would like to thank Josie for making this happen! There is no way I would be the player I am today without her. I am so lucky to have the best coaches and teammates, who are always there for me.”
