“I chose VCU for many reasons. First, I love the city of Richmond. Academically, they have a wide range of majors to choose from. Athletically, they are starting a new women’s lacrosse program and I am excited to help contribute to building that program, The coaches are AWESOME and really energized about the future of VCU’s lacrosse team.”

“For the younger blast players now starting the recruiting process, I would say to make a detailed list of exactly what you want in a college. Also start visiting colleges early so when you get to the end you don’t have to cram in all the visits at once!”

“I really like playing for Philly Blast because of how competitive it is. I love that Philly Blast has the best coaching staff – they taught me basically everything I know about lacrosse today. I also have made some of the best friendships on my Philly Blast team, both on and off the field.”

“First, I want to thank my Blast and high school coaches for supporting me through my process. I want to thank my Dad for keeping me in line and making sure I did everything I needed to during the recruiting process, for going to all my games, driving me to all my visits… even when they were all in one week and he had to take the whole week off of work!! I’d also like to thank the rest of my family for always giving me advice and supporting me through everything. Lastly and most importantly, Josie!! She has guided me through this whole thing right beside me, helping me with every word I would need to say to a coach and anything else you could think of. I want to thank her for all her patience through this. She guided me every step of the way and I would for sure not be where I am today without her.”
