“I chose Dickinson because every time I visited the campus, I loved the school more and more. The girls on the team were friendly and were people I could definitely see myself playing with! Coach Lowry and Coach Messersmith were also welcoming and encouraging on my visits to campus. Both of my parents went to Dickinson and my mom also played lacrosse there- I know I’ll love it as much as they did!”

“When looking to play lacrosse in college, make sure to look at schools that would fit you academically and socially. Lacrosse will be a big part of you college career, but not all of it! Just keep emailing coaches, visiting campuses, and participating in their clinics, especially when you find a school you want to pursue.”

“I’ve played with most of the girls on my team for a few years and I love the friendships we’ve developed! Its also been great to see how much everyone has improved over the years.”

“I would like to thank everyone who has ever had an impact on my playing lacrosse! My school teammates and my Philly Blast teammates helped me to grow as a person and a player, while always being there as my friends. Thanks you so much to my Philly Blast Coach, Dodds, who helped me to realize my love for being a defender and helping me to strengthen my defensive knowledge. Last, I want to thank my parents. I am so grateful for everything they do for me, especially in regards to driving (and sometimes flying) to all of my lacrosse practices, games, and tournaments.”
