Philly Blast 2018 Blue went undefeated at Rivalry Challenge with wins over PA Express, BBL (NJ), and Integrity (MD). In the first game (7:30am) against PA Express, Blast went up 4-0 in the first half. PA Express came back strong in the second half to close the gap, but Blast held on to finish 7-6. Against Integrity, Blast faced a very aggressive team playing a backer defense. Despite many cards throughout the game, Blast maintained composure and controlled the tempo to win 9-1. In the final game vs BBL, both teams played tremendous defense and the score was very low. Caused turnovers and ground balls were a huge part of this game! Blast won 5-2 but every minute was well fought by both teams. Great job girls! Over 120 different collegiate programs were in attendance at Rivalry.
