Why did you pick this college?

“I chose Bloomsburg University because the program had everything I wanted. Both the lacrosse and academic program were very strong, and I felt this school was the right choice for me. The location is perfect. it’s not too far and not too close. I loved the coaching style and how nice the team was when I went on my first visit. I really felt like I was at home with the team.”

What advice would you give to younger Blast players beginning the recruiting process?

“Advice I would give to younger Blast players is to always try your hardest. Don’t be scared to make mistakes, and play with confidence. Don’t think you need to rush through the recruiting process, visit as many schools as you can until you feel you have made the right choice.”

What’s your favorite part of playing for Blast?

“My favorite part of playing Philly Blast lacrosse is how awesome the coaches and teammates are. I loved playing with everyone in my class and made some new friendships. Everyone works hard for each other which made the games really fun. The coaching was also great, they always try to do what’s best for the team and give tips to improve your game.”

Additional Comments

“I would like to thank all the lacrosse coaches I had during my time at Philly Blast. I would like to give a big thank you to Josie for making this process less scary and for being very helpful. I want to thank Coach Cini and Coach Purvis for giving me tips to improve my game. Also, my sister because she would always practice with me and would never let me give up on anything, especially when I really wanted to. Lastly, I want to thank my parents, especially my mom who went to all of my games and tournaments and always believed in me. I would not be where I am today without my coaches, friends, and family.”
