High Point University (DI)

Why did you pick this college?

“I chose High Point because of the amazing mix of academics and athletics. You can do what you love while also receiving an education at the highest level. As I walked on campus for the first time, I knew it was where I wanted to be. Everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic about their school and program. “

What advice would you give to younger Blast players beginning the recruiting process?

“That everything will work out and to take your time! Do not speed up your process just to get it over with or because someone else’s is. Good things take time so believe in yourself and find the best school for you!”

What’s your favorite part of playing for Blast?

“My favorite part of Philly Blast is that every coach, no matter if they are your team’s coach or not, cares for your individual needs as a player. Everyone on the staff is so helpful and welcoming. We are always challenged to be our best selves in this program, and I am so happy I play for such a unique team!”

What other colleges were you considering?

Fairfield, Lafayette, Drexel, Quinnipiac and Mount Saint Mary’s

Achievements, other sports or activities, etc

Additional Comments

“I want to thank Josie for everything. She is what made this all possible and I would not be where I am without her! I want to thank my parents for selflessly putting me and my sport in front of a lot of things. They’re my biggest fans and I am so appreciative of them!”
