Bridget Boyle (2018) commits to Drexel

Congratulations to Blast 2018 Blue and Episcopal Academy midfielder, Bridget Boyle, on her verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Drexel University!

“I chose Drexel University because I really loved the feel of the campus. The academic programs that Drexel have to offer are a great fit for me. Coach Rudloff and her staff have high expectations for the women’s lacrosse program and I am excited to be a part of their plans for the future!”

Early in the recruiting process, Bridget had many schools far outside of Philly on her list, but she ultimately decided that Drexel was the perfect place for her. Bridget’s advice to younger athletes who are beginning the recruiting process includes keep an open mind and “be willing to visit any school even if they are not on your original list because they might surprise you.”

In addition to lacrosse, Bridget is also a member of the varsity field hockey team at The Episcopal Academy (2x Conference and State Champs) and a member of the Vestry (chapel council).

“I would like to thank Julie Young, Josie Ferri, Ally Heavens, and Caroline Doran for helping me develop as a player and a teammate. Next, I would like to thank my sister for always being there for me to practice with in the backyard. Lastly, I would like to thank my parents for their love and support and all of the car rides everywhere. Thanks Mom and Dad!”
